Nancy Corliss, MD, FACP

Nancy Corliss, MD practices full time as a primary care internist at Personal Physicians HealthCare.

 

Dr. Corliss attended an accelerated six year medical degree program at Boston University School of Medicine , where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with an MD and a BA in Medical Sciences in 1994. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society, and received the Janet M Glasgow Award from the American Women’s Medical Association as top ranking student in her class in 1994. Dr. Corliss completed a medical residency in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center in 1997. During her residency she was a founding co-chairperson for the Massachusetts Council of Associates for the American College of Physicians, and subsequently served on the National Council of Young Physicians for the ACP. She was elected to Fellowship in the ACP in 2007 and remains an active member. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American Medical Association.

 

Dr Corliss practiced with the Affiliated Physicians Group of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center until 2002, when she joined Dr Steven Flier and Dr Jordan Busch at Personal Physicians HealthCare. She has appointments to the medical staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Newton Wellesley Hospital. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and actively maintains her certification through continuing medical education programs.

 

Throughout her career Dr Corliss has served as an Instructor in Medicine for Harvard Medical School, teaching medical students and residents at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She also volunteered with the female physician volunteer group Women of Means from 2003-2011 by visiting shelters to provide medical care to homeless women, and shared in the achievement of the Massachusetts Governors Points of Light Award with this organization in 2006.

 

Dr. Corliss currently resides in Wayland with her husband Jordan, and their four children. In her free time she enjoys running, biking, sailing and gardening.
